December 4: First Friday in Silverton Tree Lighting Holiday Celebration 6 p.m. Friday, on Main Street 503-873-5615 Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with the tree lighting at 7 p.m. Hot chocolate, candy canes, holiday carols along with family and friends ~ what a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season ~ Santa Claus, atop a fire truck ladder, sprinkles the top of the Christmas tree with fairy dust to magically light the tree for the season.
